Forestry Director at Lacan Florestal, he has previously held the position of Forestry Manager at Votorantim Celulose e Papel (VCP) for twenty years. Prior to VCP, he worked as Forestry Supervisor and Regional Manager at Champion Papel e Celulose (1978-1989), currently part of International Paper. Mr Colli holds an MBA degree in Strategic Agribusiness Management from Getúlio Vargas Foundation – Ribeirão Preto (FGV), a Post-graduate degree in Environmental Forestry Management from the Federal University of Lavras and a Specialization degree in Business Administration from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in São Paulo. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná.
Mauricio Bueno Penteado - Director of New Bussiness at LACAN FLORESTAL
Professional experience of more than 20 years in leading companies in the pulp and paper industry and TIMOs (Timber Investment Management Organization). He held the position of Head of Latin America at Campbell Global from 2015 to 2018. He was an exclusive consultant for ISS - International Institute for Sustainability in 2013 and 2014. He also held the position of Director of New Business, Operations and IR for the group Floresteca SA from 2012 to 2013. From 2008 to 2012 he held some positions at Suzano Papel e Celulose, the latter of which was Director of Forest Operations. Previously, he held managerial positions at International Paper do Brasil from 2000 to 2008, in the areas of forestry research, business planning, marketing and new business. He started his career in Champion Paper and Pulp (which became International Paper) as Trainee from 1998 to 1999, later he was Forestry Inventory and Planning Manager until 2002. Mauricio holds a Master's degree in Forestry Economics from ESALQ / USP, graduated in Forestry Engineering from Federal University of Paraná and also a specialization in Financial Mathematics and MBA in Business Management by UNICAMP.
Rodrigo Rocha de Oliveira - Forestry Manager at LACAN FLORESTAL
Forestry Manager at Lacan Florestal, he has previously served as Forestry Coordinator at Veracel with focus on logistics, forestry planning and silviculture from 2004 to 2016. He received forest protection training from the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He also served from 1999 to 2003 at Votorantim Celulose e Papel in the department of Pests and Diseases Control in eucalyptus forests and nurseries. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Engineering from the São Paulo State University (UNESP), a Postgraduate degree in Forest Management from the Federal University of Lavras and an MBA degree from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
Antônio Sebastião Rensi Coelho - Advisor of LACAN FLORESTAL
Advisor of Lacan Florestal, he has previously been Manager and Head of Forestry at Duratex between 1960 and 1991, having been in charge of over 100,000 hectares of planted forests in the 1970s and 1980s. Mr Coelho was a founding member and former President of the Forestry Research and Studies Institute (IPEF) and the Floran Project conducted by the Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of São Paulo. During his career, he received various awards including the Navarro de Andrade Prize by the Brazilian Forestry Society, the Hopes for the Future for a Sustainable World medal and an honorary membership of the IPEF. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from the Agronomy School of the University of São Paulo (ESALQ-USP).

Forestry and Soil Consultant for Lacan Florestal, Mr Chaves has held posts in important companies such as Jari, Rigesa and Klabin. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from the Amazon Agronomy School, a Master’s degree in Soil and Plant Nutrition from the University of Maine and a Ph.D degree in Soil Chemistry also from the University of Maine.
